So this one started out as a submission for the Avatar comet poster contest. I was going to have Katara, Toph, Zuko, and Aang in that order as kind of a homage to the opening of every episode where Katara says, "water, earth, fire, air," but then I figured out that the contest was only open to U.S. citizens. Which sucks, because I live about 2 hours away from the states and was just there the other day. But rules are rules, I guess.

Anywho, Zuko and Katara were the only ones I had drawn so far (and Toph's head), so I turned it into... Zutara! I myself am a Zuko x Katara shipper, but I look at it realistically. I don't think they have time left to have any sort of romantic relationship (hopes she will be proven wrong nonetheless). I am happy with them fighting together, and what I've seen in the new commercials.

Fire is officially the most fun thing to photoshop ever, and water is the toughest. I was watching the show as I drew them, so I guess you could call that a reference to their poses.

I can't wait to see the last episodes, and yet I'm going to be very sad when its all over!

i'm not quite a "zutara" fan mehself. I think aang and katara should end up together, but i wouldn't mind having Zuko for mehself of aang anyday C: he seriously makes meh *kyaah* while i'm watching the newer episodes D:

What format did you save it in? .jpeg? If so, unless it's a highly compressed .jpeg, it'll do that - I recommend compressing it, or just saving it as a .png ^^
